Feeling Entitled, Are We?
Joseph Hayes, 48, apparently arrived late when bringing his offspring to a children’s birthday party in South Memphis, Tenn. “Y’all didn’t save my kids no damn ice cream and cake,” he complained to the hostess. He then went back to his apartment, the hostess said, and returned with a pistol. After brandishing the weapon, he told her, “I ain’t scared to go to jail, just take care of my kids.” She called the police. Hayes was hauled to jail, charged with aggravated assault.
