Gerald Maxwell, 39, recently got out of prison on a burglary conviction. He was just caught again inside a house, police in Sarasota, Fla., say — the same house that led to his most-recent conviction. “I just got out of jail,” Maxwell confirmed to officers. “I was going back in there to leave a thank you note,” he explained, “because I’m the guy who burglarized this place last year.” Maxwell was charged with burglary — his sixth arrest on the charge in the past three years — plus possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of his probation terms.
