Rapper Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, who uses the stage name Joey Bada$$, bragged on social media that he didn’t need protective glasses to watch the recent eclipse. The 22-year-old New Yorker tweeted, “This ain’t the first solar eclipse and I’m pretty sure our ancestors ain’t have no fancy eyewear. Also pretty sure they ain’t all go blind.” Two hours later, he followed up: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, my Cleveland, Chicago & Toronto shows on the #EverybodyTour are cancelled” due to “double vision.” (RC/AFP) ...Suggested change to his stage name: Joey Dumba$$.Original Publication Date: 27 August 2017
