Freak Collisions II
“It’s just crazy. It’s a complete fluke it could happen,” says Washington State Trooper Guy Gill. A motorist reported that as he was driving on Interstate 5 in the vicinity of Lakewood, he saw a “small black object in the air,” and he couldn’t avoid hitting it. When he stopped for fuel a half-hour later, the motorist discovered what the object was: a pistol — and it was still stuck in his front bumper. Gill retrieved the gun, which was missing its magazine, and turned it over to the Lakewood Police Dept., which is investigating a shooting that took place at about the same time. They note that when they arrested the suspect, he did not have a firearm on him. (RC/Seattle Times) ...He did a bang-up job getting rid of it.Original Publication Date: 03 June 2018
