No Good Deed...

Because of an abandoned backpack, which police dubbed a “suspicious package,” a downtown Milwaukee, Wisc., intersection was closed for hours on a Monday morning. An officer used a cable to pull the “suspicious package” off the sidewalk in front of a pub. It turned out the backpack contained such dangerous devices as a water bottle, some clothes, and what might be a camping mattress. We know this because a cyclist, undeterred by police tape and unafraid of the bogey terrorist, grabbed the bag, and tossed the contents out. The authorities promptly thanked him for his courage by tackling him and taking him away in the custody of the FBI. A video appears to show the man’s bike lying in the street afterward. (AC/Milwaukee Journal Sentinel) ...There must’ve been a water bottle on it.
