High Voltage II

A car crash in Berkeley, Calif., knocked out power to about 1,200 homes, and the driver who hit the power pole jumped out of his car and ran, police say. They found the unnamed man, and arrested him for driving under the influence. Just one other little detail was noted by Berkeley police Lt. Dan Montgomery: “He stripped off his shorts for some unknown reason.” (RC/Contra Costa Times) ...Because most people are afraid of shorts around electrical systems.
