“It’s a topic that brings up a lot of enthusiasm,” says associate professor Tamar Ginossar of the University of New Mexico. “I got a lot of support. A lot of people got excited. I have a line up of people asking to present.” What’s her new class about? Legalized marijuana. The class won’t teach growing, harvesting, or sales, but rather “communication” around pot. “For example, we’re going to talk about new technologies, so Twitter were going to see how people or organizations are tweeting about marijuana.” (RC/KOB Albuquerque) ...Based on that sentence, they’re apparently tweeting while high.Original Publication Date: 13 January 2019
