Hold My Beer and Watch This!

Three people ran out of gas in their van in Bellevue, Wash., so they went to a gas station to get more. They didn’t have a gas can, so they put two gallons of fuel into a bucket. The van’s engine was between the front seats, so they took the cover off and, while driving down the road, poured gas directly into the engine. The engine stalled, and by then the passenger compartment was heavy with gasoline fumes. When the driver turned the key to restart the engine, the air inside the van “just exploded,” a police spokeswoman said. The occupants — two men and a woman — were in “serious” and “satisfactory” condition, respectively. Police say the unnamed victims are 30 to 40 years old. (RC/Seattle Times) ...Otherwise known as “old enough to know better.”
