Home Alone

Firefighters in Tukwila, Wash., found a man dead after they struggled to get inside a burning house. The smoke was so intense that responders couldn’t go into the house for nearly an hour after arriving at the scene. Fire Marshal Don Tomaso said the victim may have been paranoid about intruders — the entryways were booby-trapped, and there were holes cut in the floor for people to fall through, covered with carpet, forcing firefighters to use sticks to feel for the holes as they searched the house. They found the homeowner dead in his bedroom. (JW/KIRO Seattle) ...The homeowner “may have” been paranoid, Tomaso?
