Home Schooling
An unnamed 14-year-old boy in Prospect Heights, Ill., met a woman online and decided she was a prostitute. He therefore arranged to hire her for sex, and she came over to his house. She told him to go into a bedroom to undress, but she didn’t provide sex: instead, police say, she pepper-sprayed him in the face, stole his piggy bank and iPad, and fled. When she later turned on the iPad, it checked in and gave investigators her location. Dareka R. Brooks, 22, was arrested and charged with armed robbery. (RC/Chicago Tribune) ...Let’s hope the lesson he actually learned serves him more than the one he had planned for.Original Publication Date: 26 May 2013
