Immigration Reform

Authorities have had enough, and are finally cracking down hard on illegals crossing the Mexican border. Not American officials, but Mexico’s: they’ve had it with sport fishermen crossing into Mexico from California, into their territorial waters, without passports, fishing permits, or tourist permits. Mexican authorities warn that boaters will be taken into custody, processed, and deported. “It will be an inconvenience,” promises María de los Remedios Gómez Arnau of the Mexican Consulate in San Diego, but they will not be charged with a crime.
