It’s a Gift
James Holcombe, 27, was arrested in Daytona Beach, Fla., in an alleged gift card theft scheme. Investigators seized 10,442 gift cards as evidence, and Holcombe and his father were charged with racketeering and conspiracy. After he was released on bail, Holcombe was arrested again a short time later: he allegedly tried to sell up to 1,000 gift cards — to raise money to pay his defense attorney.
