Keystone Kriminal Too

Carol Costello, 69, went to a Walmart in Daytona Beach, Fla., to buy some money orders. She had thousands of dollars in cash on her, but they didn’t have what she wanted so she left. There was a man in line behind her, and he followed. She got in her car and drove off — with the man right behind. When she stopped, the man ran up to her car pointing a gun — but her door was locked. He tried to break a window with the gun, but failed, so he jumped on her hood and broke a hole in her windshield with the pistol — and dropped it through the hole. The gun landed in Costello’s lap, so she grabbed it and pointed it at him. The man ran, but not before dropping his cell phone. Police were able to trace the phone to Raymond Shepard, 25, and arrested him for attempted robbery. (RC/Daytona Beach News-Journal) ...The only thing that would have made this story better is if Costello was able to use his phone to call the cops.
