Lack of Selfie Control

While out drinking with her boyfriend, a woman confessed to him that she had an affair with another man. Justin Michael Clum, 26, of Pasadena, Md., went into a rage, telling her “someone’s gonna die tonight.” He drove her to the man’s house, had her wait in the car, and allegedly set fire to the man’s house. The man wasn’t home, but his family was; it’s unclear whether any were injured. Clum took a break to visit a methadone clinic, then returned to the house to — yes — take selfies in front of the burned out residence. The unnamed woman called them “fire selfies,” and police haven’t released them as they’re evidence to support the charges against Clum: attempted first-degree murder, and first-degree arson. (RC/Washington Post) ...No need for selfies: the jailer is glad to take his photo.
