Liturgical Logic

It sounds like Stephanie Faye Hamman, 23, of Church Hill, Tenn., had someone sitting on her left shoulder with some ideas, and someone else sitting on her right shoulder with different ideas. On the one side, “She stated God had told her that smoking marijuana all day and all night was not good for her, and that she only needed to smoke it at night to help her relax,” said Police Chief Mark Johnson. On the other hand, she “further stated that she felt her husband Steven was worshiping the NASCAR race at Bristol, which made her mad, and she began having thoughts that the devil put in her head.” The result of the conflict was she allegedly drove her car to her church across the street and rammed it through the front doors. “God told me to, so I did it,” she explained later. When her husband rushed to her aid, Mrs. Hamman said, “I told him the devil was in me and I stabbed him in the heart. Have you heard if he is dead or not?” He wasn’t, since she missed his heart. “I smoke a bunch of weed,” she added. “I love to smoke it. Sometimes when I do, I start seeing things that others don’t. Isn’t God good?” (RC/Kingsport Times News) ...Well, I guess if one considers that He created weed....
