Long Live the Queen

“The King doesn’t have to pay for cigarettes,” said Lawrence Borowiak, 31, to the clerk at a convenience store. Police said that the female clerk told them Borowiak walked into the store and asked for a pack of cigarettes. After refusing to pay, she said, he lunged across the counter and tried to take the cigarettes by force. As he tried to go around to the back of the counter, the clerk called the police. When officers caught up to Borowiak on the street, he refused to stop and had to be “tackled.” (JW/The Daily Tribune) ...The King is a deadbeat.
