Lucky for Him, Stupidity Isn’t Illegal

Nathan Pugh, 49, has been convicted after a botched bank robbery attempt in Dallas, Texas. Pugh walked into a Wells Fargo Bank with a restaurant bag and handed the teller a note: “Look if you don’t want to die then you should do as this note says. This is not a bag of food. This is a bom, so just put money in an envelope and do not make any move till after I have left for ten mintis.” The teller’s response: she demanded two pieces of identification. Pugh duly provided his debit card and state identification card. As he left the bank, he saw police officers at the bank’s door and grabbed a customer with a child in her arms as a hostage, but they all fell to the floor as the officers entered and captured Pugh. He was sentenced to 102 months in prison. (MS/Star-Telegram) ...Sounds like he needed a few more “mintis” to develop his plan.
