Maybe It Was a Whackjob

Dmico Davenport Jr, 20, of Middletown, Penn., was apparently pretty excited to get a new job. Police say he celebrated by shooting a shotgun and a 9mm pistol into the air — including toward the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Each time he let off a volley, neighbors called police; it took three responses to catch Davenport, who was arrested and charged with five counts of reckless endangerment, three counts of disorderly conduct, and one count of “propulsion of a missile onto a roadway” after he admitted firing the shots. All reports ended with the same tidbit: that police didn’t note what his new job was. (RC/Harrisburg Patriot-News, WCAU Philadelphia) ...It doesn’t matter: he’ll lose it now anyway.
