Not How This Usually Works

A Goodlettsville, Tenn., woman got an ADT security system installed at her home to catch her stalker. She’d broken up with her boyfriend, Tony Joe Gunter, 52, after learning about his criminal record; she says he threatened to kill her. Three different times she’d found evidence of a break-in; twice she’d changed her locks. She even got a protection order and, finally, called in ADT. When the installer finished up and she went to check that the system was working with her cell phone, she discovered that her phone was missing — and that Gunter was under her bed. She shot him in the foot, made him return the phone, and had the ADT installer call the police. (AC/WZTV Nashville) ...“ADT helped me catch my stalker. But I still don’t know whether it works with my cell phone.”
