People of New York
Peter Davis, 30, boarded the E train subway in New York, N.Y., and saw a man drinking whiskey — and wearing nothing but socks and sneakers. Just as odd was the lack of concern the other passengers seemed to have. “He was just really wasted,” said Davis. “People were shocked I took a picture. Nobody else did anything.” Davis posted a picture of the man on Instagram, where it went viral until administrators took the picture down, calling it inappropriate. Davis didn’t report the man, though: “If I had alerted police, then he may have gotten arrested, and I didn’t want to be a snitch and send him to jail.” (MS/New York Daily News) ...It may be a sign of the times that the only shocking part was that he took a picture.Original Publication Date: 30 November 2014
