Anh Nguyen, 42, was buying a purse at Macy’s in Newark, Calif. According to police, Nguyen complained about the price and received a discount on the purse, but was still angry about the price and started screaming and cursing at the manager. The manager and loss prevention officers asked Nguyen to leave. She refused, so one of the officers attempted to escort her from the store. According to the report, Nguyen then threw herself on the floor in a full-blown temper tantrum, scratching and biting the officer on the leg. The store detective was treated for minor injuries, and Nguyen was arrested for assault and battery.
