Shuffle Off the Buffalo

Tourists at Yellowstone National Park loaded a baby bison into the back of their SUV and took the calf to a ranger station because, they explained, they thought it was cold. Karen Richardson of Victor, Idaho, witnessed the event, and took a photo. “They were demanding to speak with a ranger,” she said. “They were seriously worried that the calf was freezing and dying.” The father-and-son tourists, who were described as foreigners, were issued a citation for molesting wildlife, and rangers had the men show them where they picked the animal up so they could release it. But the herd rejected the calf, and the baby kept trying to approach cars for food, so it had to be euthanized. (RC/East Idaho News) ...Sounds like the kind of people who suggest they turn the geysers off at night to save energy.
