Smokin’

Police in Doraville, Ga., population 8,300, made a huge drug bust, confiscating nearly 2 tons of marijuana, worth $1.6-1.9 million. Officers said they were “pretty confident this would exceed personal use,” and charged Alejandro Perez with drug trafficking. What put the cops on to Perez? He called attention to himself by driving on the wrong side of the road, and then going through a stop sign. When stopped, he told officers he didn’t have a license, which led to the box truck he was driving to be impounded, and thus searched. (RC/Brookhaven Post) ...So it’s safe to say at least some of it was for personal use.
