Take a Love Bite Out of Crime

After a car vs. tree hit and run, police were able to trace the offense to Deke Walker, 31, of New Farthingdale, Dormansland, England. According to Prosecutor Melanie Wotton, Walker admitted to driving the car, even though he was disqualified from driving. Walker was arrested on multiple traffic offenses, and for assaulting an officer — for biting the investigator. “However it appears it was more of a suck rather than a bite,” Wotton agreed, “because Mr. Walker doesn’t have any teeth.” A judge gave Walker a suspended sentence of 16 weeks. He was also given a curfew, ordered to repay court costs, and was disqualified from driving for another 12 months. (MS/East Grinstead Courier) ...The guilt will be gnawing at him for a long time.
