Terrierist Situation

A police officer in Orange, Mass., couldn’t get two Scottish terriers to come back in when they escaped from a house when an ambulance took their owner to the hospital. The officer came back later to see if he could get the dogs out of the freezing temperatures, and sure enough, he saw the male, Jock, trying to get his attention. The dog led him to an embankment and sure enough, at the bottom, was the female, Annabelle, injured. Officer Chris Bisceglia called in firefighters, who used a ladder to rescue Annabelle, while Jock watched. After vet treatment, both dogs were returned to their home. (RC/Boston Globe) ...In other news, no one showed up to save Timmy from the well.
