Christians who exploit people or run “dirty” businesses are not good Christians, says Pope Francis. “So many Christians are like this,” the pontiff said in a Mass delivered at Casa Santa Marta. Creating “scandal” is a grave offense, he said. “What is scandal? Scandal is saying one thing and doing another.” For instance, company owners who pay themselves lavishly while shortchanging their employees. “But to be a Catholic like that, it’s better to be an atheist.” (RC/CNN) ...I doubt the atheists want them either.Original Publication Date: 11 March 2018
