The Swinging Door

The Bedford County (Tenn.) Sheriff’s Office says Philip Andrew Marshall escaped their lockup. It’s not like they didn’t know it was a possibility: when Marshall got away from them in January, that was his fifth escape. After the January escape, says Sheriff Austin Swing, “We have implemented new training and more training.” A deputy briefly spotted Marshall on the run, but he was “more than 200 yards away and unable to catch him.” (RC/WSMV Nashville) ...Though I can’t help but think it was more like 50-100 yards, and the deputy was not in good enough shape to run.
