The Thick Blue Line

When someone vandalized police patrol cars with spray paint in Gulfport, Fla., investigators had a pretty good idea of who did it: the vandal spray-painted his own name, and they were parked in front of his house. When officers went to Russell ‘Rusty’ Moore’s door to talk with him, he refused to come out “’cause I knew what would happen” — but threw out a can of spray paint. “Blue,” Moore said — “the same color that I painted my name.” Moore admitted that he was “just being mischievous,” and was booked on a criminal mischief charge. (RC/Bay News 9) ...To which he’ll probably plead not guilty.
