The Wild, Wild West

“If you are going to carry a handgun on your person,” suggests Chandler, Ariz., police detective Seth Tyler, “use a holster, not your waistband.” That’s his advice after investigating a shooting in the city. His investigation showed that Joshua Seto, 27, jammed his girlfriend’s pink pistol in his waistband as they walked from their car to a grocery store. The gun discharged; the bullet ripped through his genitalia, then through his thigh. The shooting has been ruled accidental, and charges against Seto for carelessness may be pending. The report notes it’s “unclear” whether Seto “suffered any permanent damage.” (RC/KSAZ Phoenix) ...Let me assure you: he will — even if it’s not physical.
