They’re honorable, fair and decent police officers.” And he said that after Gesell and Aravena were arrested with a third officer, Michael Dotro, and charged with conspiracy to retaliate against a police officer from North Brunswick, who had the gall to arrest a friend of Dotro’s for drunk driving. Dotro is already charged with arson and attempted murder in another incident for firebombing a superior’s house — while his mother, wife, and children were inside. Why? Because Dotro’s captain had ordered him to take a “fitness for duty” psychological examination after being charged with his 11th excessive force allegation.
