Things You Don’t Discuss in Public

A man began reading aloud from his Bible on a subway train outside Wimbledon station in London, England. When the man got to “death is not the end,” passengers panicked and forced the train’s doors open to escape. When commuters “self-evacuated” (as police described it), the rail’s power lines were cut, disrupting service along the line for nearly 12 hours. According to one passenger identified only as Ian, someone asked the man to stop reading “as he was scaring people” and “the guy stopped and stood there with his head down.” No one was injured or arrested, but the rail line experienced significant delays even after service was restored. (MS/BBC) ...Should have called Elijah (Matthew 17:11).
Author’s Note: Matthew 17:11: “Jesus replied, ‘To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things.’”
