Thirsty Too

Rajesh Malhotra ordered a Cold Stone milkshake for his 14 year old son, Rishab, via the DoorDash delivery service. The next morning the family checked their doorbell video. “Then my dad told me to check out the video from last night,” the boy said, and once he saw it “I brushed [my teeth] five, six times.” The video showed the delivery driver taking a sip out of the cookies and cream shake just before the delivery. “We have trust between the company and the drivers,” Rajesh said. “Once that trust is broken, we can’t go back.” He said he reported the incident to DoorDash the next day, but hadn’t heard back after more than two weeks — and that’s when he went to the media. “They just need proper training and then an apology,” he said, “and we want to make sure he doesn’t do that to other people.” (MS/KTXL Sacramento) ...Please DoorDash, help take a sip out of crime.
