This Looks Like a Good Target

Ernesto Rodriguez-Zazueta, 46, was arrested in Newark, N.J., after allegedly trying to rob an electronics store, using a pen to simulate a weapon. The clerk in the store tried to fight him off, being pretty sure he didn’t have a gun: the store was inside the security perimeter at Newark’s Liberty International Airport. Port Authority police officers say Rodriguez-Zazueta gave them several fake names before they were able to identify him — and discover he’s a fugitive on the federal Drug Enforcement Administration’s “Most Wanted” list. (RC/Newark Star-Ledger) ...On the other hand, audits of screening procedures usually show they miss most of the weapons in carry-on bags.
