Trashed by the Voters
Gary Hee, 74, finished 22nd (of 23) in his bid for a seat on the Langley Township, B.C., Canada, council. Hee is distressed that after an election, there is a “massive amount of signage” — campaign signs — to clean up. “A lot of them will probably end up in the landfill as garbage,” he said. “I thought, why waste them?” His proposal: turn them into shelters for the homeless. He built a model to show how they might look, and has asked for “donations” of signs from other candidates to build multiple tiny homes. (RC/Langley Times) ...Because politicians would love to have their names and faces plastered all over homeless camps.Original Publication Date: 04 November 2018
