Watch Where You’re Going

A woman’s text message to a friend pretty much tells the whole story: “I just git [sic] into an accident, omg. I was trying to txt u. Ran into a cop car. Omggg.”, she wrote after the crash. The unidentified woman rear-ended a marked police car at a “busy intersection” in Victoria, B.C., Canada. The message was found on her phone when police investigated the crash. They took a screenshot of the message, and gave the woman a C$167 (US$123) citation for using an electronic device while driving. (RC/Canadian Press) ...And if Victoria P.D. doesn’t turn the screenshot into a poster or billboard, they’ve missed an opportunity.
