It’s not just nurses getting pregnant in bunches: the Salisbury (N.C.) Fire Department has announced seven of the firefighters’ wives are pregnant at the same time. The women said the simultaneous pregnancies weren’t planned, though “It could have been the husbands that planned it,” says mom-to-be Crystal Carter. “Definitely do not take the water when they offer it,” said another expectant mother, Brittany Summers. “Oh, it’s great,” says yet another, Karen Renfrow. “We can text each other or message each other and ask questions and talk about the things that people don’t really talk about with pregnancy.” (RC/WCNC Charlotte) ...I’m just waiting for the flurry of texts when they find out it’s not the water that causes it.Original Publication Date: 14 April 2019
