Don’t Swipe Your Disguise From Your Girlfriend
It was a fairly standard hold-up: two men burst into a convenience store in Arvada, Colo., demanded cash from the clerk, and fled with money and cigarettes. But they had fairly non-standard disguises: The first man was wearing woman’s bright green thong underwear over his face; the second had a bright blue thong over his face, a pink backpack, and had distinctive tattoos on his arms. Local media immediately dubbed the men the Thong Bandits. Once surveillance camera images hit the media, Joseph R. “Blue Thong” Espinoza, 24, and Joaquin “Green Thong” Rico, 19, turned themselves in to police. (Denver Post) …Once they hit prison, I’m guessing they’ll regret becoming widely known for wearing underwear that doesn’t cover their butts.
