Yes? No! Two

An employee of the Washington State Patrol was “shocked” when she arrived at work and noticed a book sitting on the seat of the car next to hers in the Headquarters parking lot. The title: How to Beat the Lie Detector. She went inside and told her supervisor. The car was traced to a man who was inside applying for a job at the department, and at that very moment was taking a polygraph test. The unnamed man was not hired because of the incident. It’s not that having the book is illegal or against regulations, but he lied when they asked him about it. (RC/KOMO Seattle) ...Sure, but did the polygraph reveal the deception?
