Zero Tolerance — Unless...

Officials in the School District of North Fond du Lac, Wisc., feel they took appropriate action against sixth grade teacher Deanna Martin, who allegedly threatened to “shoot” a student for failing to complete his homework. The student’s mother disagrees. “Had the situation been reversed and had my son been the one who made the threat,” she said, “he would have been punished, most likely expelled.” But school officials slapped her hand, placing her on eight days of administrative leave, and must apologize to the student and his mother verbally and in writing. (MS/Fond du Lac Reporter) ...Mom should demand that writing be done 100 times on the board.
