Buck the System

Sheriff’s deputies in Hernando County, Fla., were dispatched to aid a driver who said he was being chased by a man in a black SUV with police lights, but the driver apparently didn’t think the SUV was a real police car. Sure enough, deputies caught up with the SUV and pulled over James Michael Buck, 23. They found Buck had several badges, some “police gear,” and a DVD with the title Let’s Be Cops. Buck was not, however, a cop. He was arrested on a charge of impersonating a police officer, and jailed on $5,000 bail. “If I could do tonight over again, I never would have done this,” Buck told the deputies, saying he outfitted his SUV like a police vehicle so that “no one would mess with him.” (RC/WFTS Tampa) ...Because no one ever messes with cops.
