Business Idea, Obliviot Style

Jonathan D. Miller, 18, and Myshawn L. Bonds, 19, of Carpentersville, Ill., allegedly schemed to find expensive items for sale on Craigslist. When they found something they wanted, police say, they would make an appointment to come see the item, and then grab it and run. After stealing an $8,000 watch, police say, that afternoon they posted an ad for it on Craigslist, using the same photos that their victim had used. Officers simply agreed to buy the watch for $7,000, and Miller and Bonds showed up with it at the designated place and time — where they were arrested on various felony charges. In a previous incident, police say, they stole a laptop computer — which had anti-theft software which showed its location and photos of its surroundings. (RC/WLS Chicago) ...They were on time? Then the watch works.
