Irrational

New York City, N.Y., cops seized Kam Brock’s car because they suspected she was on marijuana — though they couldn’t find any when they searched, her lawyer says. Then, when she went to get the car back, she was locked up for psychiatric treatment — and Harlem Hospital diagnosed her with “inability to test reality, unemployment.” Their goals for her: “Patient will verbalize the importance of education for employment and will state that Obama is not following her on Twitter.” In fact, Brock works for Astoria Bank, and @BarackObama (the president’s verified Twitter account) does follow her on Twitter. But that didn’t save her from eight days locked in the psych ward, nor from forced injections of drugs, nor from waking up to being stripped of her underwear, according to her and her lawsuit. (AC/New York Daily News) ...If inability to recognize reality warrants detention, humiliation, and forcible injection, should these things be done to the doctors who did them to her?
