Maybe He Should See a Doctor

The manager of a supermarket in Groveland, Fla., called police to report a man in the store was using his cell phone camera to take pictures under the skirts of unsuspecting female shoppers. Officers stopped the man, and asked to look at his phone. He cooperated by unlocking it and sure enough, the officers say, they found many photos and videos taken under skirts. “At this time, he interrupted me and voluntarily stated that he had a problem,” the officer noted in his report. “He stated to me that he had a compulsive disorder that caused him to take under skirt videos of unsuspected females.” Akram Ismail, 57, was arrested, and it’s not the first time he’s been in trouble. In 2009, Ismail was charged with hiring a hitman to “maim or sexually embarrass” a business partner. Ismail avoided prison by pleading guilty of a lesser charge, but his medical license was suspended. That’s right: Ismail is a doctor. And “is” is the right word, since the suspension is over and he got his license back. The Florida Department of Health is “monitoring” him, and requires quarterly reports. (RC/Orlando Sentinel) ...The next report will be a doozie.
