Newton’s Laws vs. Darwin’s Law

What happened in a street robbery was perplexing police in San Francisco, Calif. Two teens robbed a man, who cooperated with them. One of the teens pulled a gun and shot the man anyway — in the face. But the victim didn’t fall dead, the other teen did. Police at first wondered if there was a rival gang member who shot the robber. But after investigation, they found that the teen’s bullet glanced off the victim’s face, and hit the accomplice, Clifton Chatman, 16, killing him instead. Police are seeking the suspected shooter, who is also 16. (RC/San Francisco Chronicle) ...And who has since tried to commit suicide 15 times, leaving a pile of bodies in his wake.
