Not That Kind of Stimulation

The Business Wales web site, an official government site, was set up to give tips to stimulate the economy. It even had special advice for women. They said aspiring actresses, for instance, could boost their income to 120–250 pounds (US$180–375) an hour in “extra income while they try to establish themselves in the entertainment industry” — by stripping or being an escort. “It beggars belief that advice is being given on an official Welsh Government web site to help people get into the sex trade,” complained Welsh Assembly Member Jocelyn Davies. The site’s free “business start-up factsheets” weren’t just for young women wanting to work for others. It also, for instance, offered advice to women on how to open an erotic boutique or their own escort agency. Once word got out, the site quickly deleted the “special” content for young women. (RC/London Telegraph) ...As it should have: it completely discriminated against young men wanting to exploit those ladies by not having factsheets on pimping.
