Oopsie

Fargo, N.D., police officer Bret Witte left an unmarked police vehicle unlocked in his driveway. While it was there, someone stole several pairs of handcuffs, a bulletproof vest, a police radio, a Taser, two loaded magazines for a handgun, and a knife from the car. One pair of handcuffs was found when a man called saying he needed help getting out of them, but the original thief and the rest of the equipment has not been found. This is the third incident leading to a reprimand for Witte. The first was ten years ago when he was caught having sex with his girlfriend in his squad car. “We look at not only the situation at hand, but also the totality of his entire career and work history,” said Lt. Joe Vettel. Witte received a letter of reprimand for leaving the valuable gear unlocked in the vehicle. (MS/Fargo Forum) ...Those were Witte and his girlfriend’s favorite handcuffs, too.
