Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition
“We had quite a number of church members, some elderly ladies, for example, and some not so elderly women that had purchased guns, but didn’t know how to use them,” says Pastor Phillip Guin of the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church in Jemison, Ala. The church had some land behind it, and the gully there would make a great shooting range, the minister thought. The resulting range has become so popular, even the local police train there. The church’s Rocky Mount Hunt and Gun Club “is an opportunity for us to reach out in the name of Jesus Christ in a setting that is completely unique,” Rev. Guin says, though he admits it might be “odd by some people’s standards.” (RC/WIAT Birmingham) ...What caliber would Jesus pack?Original Publication Date: 13 September 2015
