Shocking News

Kaveh Kamooneh, 50, was at his son’s tennis practice at Chamblee Middle School in Chamblee, Ga. While there, he plugged in his Nissan Leaf at an external outlet at the school to charge the automobile. Later, he saw someone in his car, and went over to discover a police officer sitting inside. After a verbal confrontation, Kamooneh left the school, but was later arrested on charges of misdemeanor theft; he was released on $150 bail. The total estimated value of the “stolen” electricity is a few cents. “I’m waiting for them to arrest water drinkers and cell phone chargers,” said Kamooneh. But police chief Marc Johnson backs up the arrest. “Cell phone charging stations have stands and signs to charge your phones,” he said. (MS/ABC) ...Let this be a warning to those of you who dare use an outlet not marked as approved for cell phone charging.
