Slow Thinkers Meet Quick Thinker
A man stopped to fix his bicycle in Loxahatchee, Fla., was approached by two men with a gun demanding money. The bicyclist said he didn’t have any — but said they could come back tomorrow when he did. Satisfied, the men got into their car and drove off. The bicyclist called police and gave them a description of the men and their car. Officers apprehended the suspects within 15 minutes: Juan Bixby, 35, and Julian Lopez, 27, were charged with attempted robbery with a weapon. (RC/South Florida Sun Sentinel) ...Normally, we worry that people charged with silly crimes will learn to be more effective in prison.
