Spilt Money

A Florida creamery has defeated the state’s effort to brand its skim milk “imitation milk.” State officials claimed it wasn’t “real” milk because it didn’t have added vitamins. The dairy offered to label the milk as not having added vitamins, but that wasn’t good enough for state officials. So the case went to court, and the dairy won. Florida taxpayers ended up out $20 million for the costs of the fight. (AC/WBBH Fort Myers) ...But the bureaucrats responsible probably aren’t out a dime.
